Working closely with Electrify America, a visionary electric charging company at the forefront of sustainable transportation, our mission was to encourage users to enroll in the Pass plan, their free plan, while strategically driving upsells to the premium Pass+ plan, offering additional benefits and cost savings on each charge over time.
Challenge
A considerable number of users were not embracing the advantages of the Pass+ plan, posing a challenge in effectively communicating its value and driving upsells.
Solution
To address this challenge, our team crafted a comprehensive multistep welcome series targeted at new users who enrolled in the Pass plan. The series was strategically designed to showcase Electrify America's unmatched infrastructure investment, emphasizing the seamless experience and convenience it offers EV drivers nationwide. Additionally, we infused the series with the brand's identity, establishing a strong connection with new users to foster trust and loyalty.
Results
The results exceeded expectations, achieving a remarkable 13% increase in upsells from the Pass plan to the premium Pass+ plan. This surge in upsells not only led to increased usage of the Pass+ plan but also reduced calls to customer service, demonstrating the success of the welcome series in achieving its objectives.
